Win on Sunday, Flex on Monday
As the motorsport calendar winds down and the grid almost fades into winter hibernation, where are high-octane addicts supposed to get their fix? On the asphalt, naturally. With the Cadillac V-One Concept, preferrably.
One Seat to Rule Them All

The old racing adage "Win on Sunday, sell on Monday" might sound like a nostalgic marketing cliché, but Cadillac recently just gave it a shot of pure adrenaline with the V-ONE Concept – even if you can't technically drive this study off the dealership lot. Co-developed by Cadillac Design, Cadillac Racing, and the chassis wizards at Dallara, the V-ONE isn't a mere cosmetic marketing exercise wrapped in superficial carbon fiber.
It is, quite literally, an LMDh prototype reimagined for the private collector. Drawing direct lineage from the V-Series.R – a machine backed by recent IMSA titles, Le Mans Hyperpole glory, and WEC victories – the V-ONE translates brutal competition hardware into a driver-focused, single-seat masterpiece.
At its core beats a race-derived hybrid V8 engine pumping out a ferocious 830 combined horsepower. But unlike a full-blown endurance racer that requires a team of telemetry engineers just to start the engine, the V-ONE is designed to be operated effortlessly. Beneath the skin lies authentic track architecture nevertheless: pushrod-actuated coil and torsion springs, double-wishbone suspension, and heave dampers front and rear.
Visually, it looks like it rolled straight out of the pit lane at 3:00 AM. The exterior sports a hand-sprayed gradient paint transitioning from brilliant silver to deep navy, mirroring the dramatic day-to-night transition of a 24-hour endurance run. Inside, the single-seat cockpit pairs exposed carbon fiber structure and recycled technical fabrics with a bespoke racing wheel and an intuitive interface that doubles as a digital race coach.
It’s raw prototype performance wrapped in bespoke luxury – and the ultimate reason to start planning your next garage expansion.
