Who had this one on the list? Just in time for Monterey Car Week, Singer and Louis Vuitton decided to break the internet with a collab seldom seen. It manifests in a Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer – Classic and a 911 Reimagined by Singer – Classic Turbo, conceived by Louis Vuitton’s Artistic Director of Women’s Collections Nicolas Ghesquière. One understated classic coupe, one cabriolet powerhouse. So, if you ask yourself, just like us: How did all this come about? The starting point was a dashboard watch.
“This unique and remarkable adventure began with a request for a dashboard clock for a car reimagined by Singer. In addition to the design and production of this clock by La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton workshops in Switzerland, it quickly became apparent to us that this collaboration with Singer could extend to the personalisation of every functional element of the vehicle, enhancing them through our expertise in leather craftsmanship and watchmaking,” shares Jean Arnault, Louis Vuitton Watch Director.
Rob Dickinson, Founder and Executive Chairman at Singer explains: “The specifications chosen by Louis Vuitton exposed us to techniques and methods developed over decades of experience. They trusted us with their esteemed brand, their traditions and their vision and it was a joy to bring our two worlds together.” And so, both brands went on a journey together, which led to a one-off duo of sports cars, influenced by the expertise of exclusivity and mastering a journey. Their shared bond is a detachable timepiece – and the ultimate individualisation, though each one is having a distinct character.
911 Reimagined by Singer – Classic
Based on a Type 964 coupe chassis, this bespoke creation is powered by a 4.0-liter naturally aspirated, air-cooled flat-six engine paired with a six-speed manual transmission. It features lightweight carbon fiber bodywork finished in a striking saffron, cobalt blue, and yellow livery, which pays homage to both Louis Vuitton's historic packaging and Singer's early commissions in Bahama Yellow. The meticulous attention to detail is evident on the exterior, from the bespoke roof rack carrying a custom Louis Vuitton surfboard and skis, to the distinctive cobalt blue demonstration tires and the rear engine air intake grille featuring a geometric L and V motif. Inside, the cabin is swathed in natural leather inspired by LV's iconic VVT leather, featuring diamond-patterned "malletage" embossing and Monogram flower details on the hand-finished, ventilated seats.
911 Reimagined by Singer – Classic Turbo
Conceived under the visionary leadership of Nicolas Ghesquière, Louis Vuitton’s Artistic Director of Women’s Collections, this cabriolet model blends the nautical and automotive worlds. Built on a Type 964 cabriolet chassis, it features lightweight carbon fiber bodywork painted in Calcaire Lutétien white, complemented by an iconic whale tail rear wing and unique wooden features, including the bumpers. Power comes from a 3.8-liter, twin-turbocharged flat-six engine with air-to-water intercooling, controlled via a six-speed manual transmission and selectable drive modes. The interior pays sophisticated tribute to classic motorboats, highlighted by a teak-inspired wooden deck over the rear luggage compartment. Inside the cabin, the bespoke dashboard clock sits in the center console, surrounded by warm golden gauges and natural leather upholstery that create a seamless dialogue with the exterior.

The capsule collections
To truly celebrate the Art of Travel, Louis Vuitton has dressed the owners as carefully as the machines themselves. For the Classic coupe, the exclusive capsule functions as an extension of the cabin, utilizing the same Millésime leather in saffron, cobalt, and yellow. It features a naturally grained leather racing jacket with Monogram Flower eyelets, heavy cotton-and-silk denim jeans, and a calfskin-trimmed jet helmet.
Drivers can choose between the LV Rally car-shoe or the LV Remix Derby. The luggage is perfectly fitted to the car's contours, including a 1950s-inspired helmet bag, the historic Bisten suitcase, a Keepall, and uniquely shaped front-trunk bags.
Echoing the cabriolet’s nautical inspiration, the Classic Turbo's wardrobe perfectly complements its white bodywork, warm wood, and gold accents. The driver is outfitted in a made-to-measure parachute silk suit, braided leather driving gloves, and the lightweight LV Sneakerina. A Tambour Automatic watch in ceramic and yellow gold mimics the dashboard clock, with both resting elegantly in a reissued Coffret Tresor when not in use. The bespoke luggage collection features reimagined House icons like the Alma and Noé, a custom three-part trunk for the front boot, and a Petite Malle crafted from wood that matches the vehicle's interior.
