Just before the main events in Monterey kick off, Eccentrica has presented its wild V12 Roadster, while Marc Philipp Gemballa has lifted the curtains off the Marsien GT.

Californication? Acceleration. Domination! Ahead of The Quail and Pebble Beach, Eccentrica and Marc Philipp Gemballa decided to steal the headlines, respectively presenting their V12 Roadster and the Marsien GT. Looking at their closed and off-road variants, the new derivatives add even more thrill to already stellar machines. We take a closer look.
Eccentrica V12 Roadster
After taking on the first-series Lamborghini Diablo as a coupe, Eccentrica said to themselves: Let’s make it even more extreme. So they removed the roof to create an unfiltered, open-air restomod experience. Stripping away the canopy leaves absolutely nothing between man and machine, transforming the 1990s icon into a highly purposeful, analog supercar. Limited to just nineteen bespoke units, the Roadster features a completely re-engineered body crafted from steel and carbon fiber, boasting a widened track and recalibrated proportions.
Under the hood, a thoroughly revised 5.7-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine now delivers 550 horsepower and 600 Nm of torque. Paired with a close-ratio six-speed gated manual gearbox, it promises a blistering top speed of 208 mph.Modern upgrades like a custom semi-active damper system, hydraulic steering, and Brembo brakes ensure that the raw, nostalgic Diablo character is perfectly matched with contemporary driving precision. And yes, of course, the pop-down headlights stay.
Marc Philipp Gemballa Marsien GT
While the original Marsien tackled the dunes, Marc Philipp Gemballa’s new Marsien GT brings the focus strictly back to the tarmac. Based on the Porsche 992 Turbo S, this pure grand touring evolution features a completely new full carbon fiber exterior that sheds 75 kilograms of weight. It incorporates advanced active aerodynamics, including pneumatic front fender louvers and a raised active rear wing that also functions as an air brake.
The engineering is just as serious as the aggressive styling: Legendary Porsche specialist RUF upgraded the twin-turbo flat-six engine once more to push out a massive 830 horsepower and 930 Nm of torque. Riding on a bespoke KW double-wishbone suspension with an everyday-friendly nose lift, and screaming through a custom titanium Akrapovič quad exhaust, this ultra-exclusive machine is limited to a mere 30 examples worldwide. In total, this makes 70 Marsiens, honoring Marc Philipp Gemballa’s late father and what would have been his 70th birthday.
