Normally, no one’s excited about fourth place in Formula 1. The Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team (Ref. IW388121) takes its hue from Singapore’s national flower: an orchid bred in 1893 by Armenian-Singaporean horticulturist Agnes Joaquim. Just as the F1 cars, the watch was created with intent – to be at home in the paddock and dominate. Like Mercedes does this whole season, shining in the world of F1 – and with the watch – now on your wrist, too.
Its case, measuring 41 millimeters in diameter, is crafted from Grade 5 titanium – a material with a proven track record throughout F1, favored for its strength-to-density ratio and heat resistance. Beating inside is the IWC-manufactured 69385 caliber, a mechanical chronograph built on a classic column-wheel architecture and engineered with a focus on precision, reliability, and robustness.

A bidirectional pawl winding system provides a 46-hour power reserve. Finished with Geneva stripes and circular graining, the movement can be viewed through the transparent sapphire-glass case back.
