The Winning Formula
Normally, one would say: Gold is the colour of triumph. In Italy, though, it’s red. Gunning for home race glory in Monza, Scuderia Ferrari has now presented a fashion collection honouring F1 legend Michael Schumacher.
Simply Iconic
30 years ago, F1 history was rewritten. Michael Schumacher joined Scuderia Ferrari after two championship titles with Benetton—and reshaped it with total dedication and passion. Not only did he deliver his first victory in red at Barcelona in 1996, he also shook Monza when he gifted the Tifosi a win on home turf, followed by five world championship titles. Now, 30 years after his incredible debut, Ferrari pays it back: The PUMA for Scuderia Ferrari HP Monza Limited Edition honours Michael Schumacher's first season in red. Not as a mere look back, but as recognition of the beginning of something that still defines the Scuderia today.
The Monza Limited Edition spans a Replica tee, a Replica shirt, a racing jacket, and a cap, each carrying the visual language of Schumacher's 1996 season—including Schumacher's seven stars, which became synonymous with his total of seven world titles. The ultimate centrepiece is the racing jacket: its stitching directly draws from the construction of Schumacher's race suit. The same panelling and precision built for the cockpit are now ready to be worn on the streets of Monza.
The collection carries a vintage aesthetic that reaches back to where it all began, while being worn by the current drivers and holding a promise for the future, too. Ferrari? Will always be Ferrari.
