Serving Looks: Lacoste x The Hoxton
Over the past few years, we have seen a lot of exclusive ways to unlock highly coveted fashion collections. But Lacoste and The Hoxton have just won the game. Period.
Hello, room service?
Want to shop the latest Lacoste collection? Good luck trying at your nearest boutique. Or at the outlets, for that matter. To get your hands on the most recent collaborative launch from the French fashion powerhouse, you have to check into one of The Hoxton's hotels. And then call room service. Yes, you read that right. The accommodating hotel staff is now serving looks, not just Champagne or a Negroni. Either way, no matter what you order from this rather unconventional menu, it's safe to say: you ate.
For this project, Lacoste and The Hoxton teamed up with LA-based artist Michael McGregor to design a special-edition capsule collection. McGregor’s unmistakable, colorful graphic style lends a playful new perspective to a collection inspired by the rituals and rules that define a hotel stay. And hey, the most important rule is to have fun, after all.
Shaping the seven-piece collection are McGregor’s unique illustrations, which capture the small moments defining the unique rhythm of everyday hotel life. Eye-catching typography and nostalgic references to check-in, room service, and settling in run through each piece, complemented by Lacoste’s clean lines and signature green-and-white color palette. So... which piece will be yours?
